Buy new: $995.00 / Used from: $746.99 Best balance of true gound-shaking, theater-like bass and tight, accruate punch for music. Upgraded my Velodyne CHT-8 (8", 130 watts RMS) to this monster (12", 500 watts RMS), and the difference is profound. For watching blu-ray with lossless audio (TrueHD, MasterAudio), you need a sub that can reach the extreme low end, and sustain it (Think Transformers on bluray).
