If the rumored silver "Asus UL30Vt-A1" comes out (which should have even longer battery life and a two (not one) year warranty), this will match nicely. Additionally, I'm all about portability, so rather than having an external optical drive with a tray (that I may accidentally break if I'm in a hurry), I like the idea of having a drive that slot-loads and takes up less space.
